WDScott Group announces merger with Distinct

We are pleased to announce formally that the WDScott Group has merged with Distinct Consulting (www.distinctpartners.com). Both businesses have been considering the timing of the merger over the last 12 months and we believe now that the timing is right to position new value-based offerings to our clients. Both businesses are thriving and there has never been a better time for this to happen. David Power (currently MD of Distinct Consulting) will become CEO of WDScott Europe and US.

The European and US businesses will continue to be a sector-focused consultancy with deep expertise in Banking, Insurance, Mobile Telcos and the Public Sector. There will be no impact on current client engagement structures but the combined business will be in a position to offer a more complete range of consulting and services solutions to their client base.

• For existing WDScott Clients... Distinct will bring considerable expertise in the design and implementation of intelligence and analytics-based solutions.
• For existing Distinct Clients... WDScott will bring additional expertise and solutions in the strategic design, process modelling, management and process re-engineering arena.

From a branding perspective the UK business will migrate to one brand (WDScott) by the end of 2010 whilst Distinct will retain its brand in the Irish marketplace. As a business we are extremely excited about the opportunity that the merger brings and we look forward to bringing the combined business to market.
